According to English Wikipedia, a weed is a plant in a wrong place. Certain plants can be valuable crops in one context but may be considered ‘wrong’ in another context. Furthermore, the weed could be a type of plant that can survive in diverse environments and reproduce quickly; in this sense, its definition has even been applied to humans. This definition of “weed” is positioned next to real weeds growing at the corner of the yard, creating a site-specific installation. The name plate was enclosed in an A4-sized box with instructions and sold as 25 editions of multiple works.
