Drawing of silence (Mural)

2018,  pencil on wall, text printed on transparent sheets

-From  Ghost in silence series

In ‘Ghost in silence’, Hagiwara narrates the perception difference of silence between Japanese and European. The extracted narrative is attached to the drawing.

This music score that consists of various lengths of the rest signs, indeed indicates no sound. However, from a specific angle, it is a variation of meaningful silences.
