Rumiko Hagiwara is a Japanese artist based in Amsterdam.
In her conceptual art practice, which includes site-specific installations, photos, videos, and performances, she aims to twist points of attention and value on ordinary phenomena from her cross-cultural perspective, often resulting in a humorous poetics of the ordinary.
She also co-directs an artist initiative Multiple Choice and is a member of a pop music band called Dina from Egypt.
